Job Title: VIP (Security) Officer

About the Role

Join Hollywoodbets, a dynamic and fast-growing brand, as a VIP (Security) Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment by conducting patrols and preventing loss or theft, while reporting any irregularities or suspicious activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling and Monitoring:
• Be present 15 minutes before the Branch opens.
• Conduct perimeter patrols before and after the Branch opens.
• Perform floor walks to ensure everything is in order.
• Ensure all observation checks are completed before daily checks by the Branch Manager or Senior Team Leader.
• Monitor surroundings for any suspicious activities.
• Security Procedures:
• Ensure all two-way radios and panic buttons are fully charged and in good working condition.
• Conduct searches using scanners for all guests and team members entering the Branch.
• Maintain strict gender-specific scanning protocols.
• Direct traffic and control vehicle flow on the premises.
• Minimize high-risk entries during closing procedures.
• Guest Service:
• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Address guest complaints proactively and communicate feedback effectively.
• Promote a guest-centric culture within the Branch.
• Ensure guests leave with a positive impression and encourage them to return.
• Compliance:
• Adhere to the dress code and wear full Amadoda uniforms with name badges.
• Ensure no unauthorized items, weapons, or persons under the age of 18 enter the premises.
• Follow all Branch policies, including those related to alcohol, credit bets, and Limited Pay-out Machines.
• Code of Conduct:
• Maintain professionalism at all times: no sitting, lounging, using cell phones, eating, or smoking while on duty.
• Report for duty sober and do not abandon your post.
• Avoid casual conversations with friends or team members while on duty.
• Do not accept tips from guests.
• Values and Teamwork:
• Promote and live by Hollywoodbets values, setting an example for the team.
• Report absenteeism to the Branch Manager or Senior Team Leader at least 2 hours before the shift.
• Work in rotating shifts or flexible hours as required.
• Maintain physical fitness in line with job requirements.

Requirements

• Must Have:
• Grade C security certification.
• 1-2 years of security experience.
• Registration with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority).
• Bonus:
• Valid driver’s license.
