- Matric
- Qualification in Logistics and/or Material Management
- Forklift License
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing employees
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
Responsibilities
- Ensure Peak Efficiency: Supervise, organize, and train warehouse employees to ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction as the primary goal. Establish, monitor, and manage operational goals.
- Document Warehouse Operations: Develop and maintain documented warehouse operations by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate pass processes, and shipping methods.
- Train and Manage Team: Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short-and long-term performance goals.
- Implement KPIs: Implement relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Optimize Workflows: Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
