Admin Clerk Sales Key Responsibilities
Client Management and Data Administration:
- Capture, manage and regularly update client information using Pastel/Fusion software
- Handle professional client correspondence through email and telephone communications
- Process and file credit applications for new and existing clients
- Assist with debit and credit enquiries and resolve general client queries promptly
- Support sales representatives with administrative tasks and client follow-ups
- Attend to walk-in customers and provide professional service at all times
Sales Support and Quotation Processing:
- Prepare, issue and systematically follow up on customer quotations
- Generate and process invoices accurately and timeously
- Compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly sales reports
- Manage sales reconciliations and maintain accurate sales records
- Participate in marketing expos and company social events as required
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies
Logistics and Stock Management:
- Request and compare transport quotes for customer deliveries
- Arrange and coordinate local and cross-border deliveries efficiently
- Manage all SADC cross-border documentation and compliance requirements
- Conduct regular stock reconciliations and maintain inventory accuracy
- Manage consignment stock processes and reporting
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries
Administrative Excellence:
- File and archive quotations, invoices and important documents systematically
- Compile analytical reports for management review
- Participate in ongoing training and skills development programs
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy document retrieval
- Assist with general office administration as required
Admin Clerk Sales Minimum Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
- 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in administration or sales support
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in Pastel accounting software (Fusion experience advantageous)
- Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence
- South African citizenship or valid work permit
