As a Traditional Call Centre Agent, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for building trust quickly and matching customers with suitable Dis-Chem Life products. This high-volume sales role involves working with both warm and cold leads, handling objections, and confidently closing deals while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Call Centre Agent Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Engagement
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to sell Dis-Chem Life products
- Build rapid rapport with customers and identify their specific needs
- Recommend appropriate insurance solutions based on customer requirements
- Handle objections effectively and close sales with confidence
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Compliance and Administration
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems
- Ensure compliance with all sales regulations and company processes

- Adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Complete required documentation accurately and timeously
Performance Management

Call Centre Agent Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- 1-2 years’ experience in a call centre sales environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Clear credit and criminal record
- Reliable transport to and from office
- Ability to work weekends when required
Advantageous Qualifications:
- RE5 Certification
- COB Certification
- Life insurance sales experience
- Previous experience with CRM systems
