1. What is the CHIETA ICT Internship?
It’s a 24-month paid internship for recent IT graduates. You’ll gain hands-on experience in ICT support, documentation, user requirement gathering, and business unit support.
2. Who can apply?
Applicants with a National Diploma in Information Technology or a related qualification, a minimum 65% aggregate, and residency in Gauteng Province.
3. Do I need work experience?
No. The internship is designed for candidates with no work experience. It’s an entry-level opportunity.
4. How much is the stipend?
The monthly stipend is R7,000.00.
5. How long is the internship?
The internship runs for 24 months.
6. Where is the internship based?
It’s based in Midrand, Gauteng.
7. Do I need a driver’s licence?
A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage, but it’s not a strict requirement.

11. What will I be doing as an ICT Intern?
You’ll assist the ICT Support unit, provide support to business units, help with user requirement gathering, file documentation, take minutes in meetings, and assist with minor hardware and software maintenance.

Planning, organisation, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, confidentiality, teamwork, self-drive, innovation, computer skills, and time management.
13. Is this a permanent position?
No. This is a 24-month internship contract.
