Job Description
Avocet Scales and Labels (Pty) Ltd, a provider of weighing scales, label printers, and related consumables, is seeking a Helpdesk Administrator to join their team. The role involves troubleshooting, software installation, drafting quotations, and providing first-call resolution to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Work overtime as required.
- Update company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
- Install and upgrade software for external customers.
- Draft and manage quotations.
- Provide remote diagnostics and mobile support.
- Log and allocate service calls to technicians.
- Meet service targets while working under pressure.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to address critical problems first.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Grade 12 (Post Matric Qualification preferred)
- Experience: 6 months to 1-2 years in a similar role
- Skills:
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent phone mannerisms
