Magalies Water External Bursary Programme

Magalies Water
South Africa
Closing Date: 31 October 2026

About the Bursary

Magalies Water is a state-owned bulk water board supplying the North West province, along with parts of Gauteng and Limpopo. As part of its youth development initiative, the organisation runs an External Bursary Programme to support South African students pursuing water-sector-related qualifications.

The bursary is administered in-house by Magalies Water’s Human Resources Department.

Civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering form the core of the programme, alongside chemistry, biotechnology/microbiology, water care, and financial accounting. If you’re studying in one of these fields and need financial support, this bursary is worth applying for.

The programme gives preference to female candidates, previously disadvantaged individuals, and people with disabilities.
