What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

Operations Management

Overseeing the overall operation of the restaurant/take-away.
Ensuring quality standards of food and the company’s Standard Operating Procedures are maintained.
Overseeing and managing stock control, purchasing, and orders.
Ensuring daily opening and closing procedures are conducted at the store.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Financial Performance

Maximising profitability and meeting sales and GP% targets, including motivating staff to do so.
Marketing activities – ensuring promotion and incentive programmes are introduced at the store.

Customer Service

Dealing with customer complaints and maintaining customer service levels.
Handling customer service complaints and ensuring they’re resolved within the required time frame.

People Management

Managing staff, including discipline and work rosters.
Ensuring training programmes are in place for staff development.
Maintaining and carrying out regular structured staff meetings.
Recruitment and selection – leading, training, and monitoring the performance of the team to increase productivity and profitability.
Performance evaluation of staff.
Working within a team and driving the restaurant/take-away forward.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

Restaurant and Fast-Food Service experience – minimum 3 years related experience required.
GAAP experience and knowledge – advantageous.
Management skills.
Organisational skills.
Customer service and good verbal communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
